AI & Credits Policy

1. Our principle

Creator Intelligence Engine is a decision-support platform, not an automated growth engine. AI is a tool you choose to use, not something that runs on you. Three rules follow from this: non-AI features are free; AI features only run when you ask; and we never draw down your credits in the background.

2. Non-AI features are free

Core productivity and planning tools work fully without credits and without AI. These include, among others:

• The Productivity Suite (calendar, tasks, and manual planning boards).
• Analytics and performance dashboards that visualize data you entered.
• Production planning, shot lists, scenes, and checklists.
• The Publishing QA status board and manual review tracking.
• Decision logs, the creator journal, the strategy canvas, and the swipe file.
• Revenue attribution and monetization intelligence computed from your recorded data.

These features never consume credits, regardless of your balance, and remain available even when your balance is zero.

3. AI features consume credits — only when you trigger them

AI-powered actions (for example trend-shift analysis, concept evaluation, risk and compliance assessment, thumbnail analysis, retention interpretation, long-form repurposing, content brief generation, competitor activity scans, and revenue forecasting) require credits. Before any AI action runs, the Service shows you an estimated credit cost. Credits are deducted only when the action actually executes.

AI actions are strictly user-initiated. The Service does not run AI on a schedule, on a timer, or in response to record changes that would silently consume your credits. There is no background automation that draws credits. If an AI action fails before producing a result, no successful deduction is kept for that action.

4. Credits do not expire by time

Purchased credits sit in your balance until you use them. There is no monthly reset, no rolling expiry window, and no "use it or lose it" timer. Your account can use all platform features while your aggregate credit balance is greater than zero. When your balance reaches zero, AI features are paused until your next purchase; non-AI features keep working.

5. Billing in GHS, value referenced to USD

Credit bundles are priced in Ghana Cedis (GHS) and charged through Paystack. Credit values are referenced to a USD peg to keep relative pricing stable against currency movement, but the amount you are charged at checkout is in GHS and is shown to you before you confirm.

6. AI output is advisory, not a guarantee

Every AI output is probabilistic and advisory. Trend and virality analysis describes patterns and possibilities; it does not predict that any specific post will go viral or that any strategy will succeed. Engagement, reach, and revenue estimates are indicative ranges, not promises of results. You must use your own judgment before acting on any AI output.

7. Risk and compliance output is not legal advice

The Risk & Compliance module helps you think through content risks (dangerous acts, monetization, copyright, platform policy, and similar). Its output is not legal advice, does not create any lawyer-client relationship, and must not replace qualified counsel. Platform policies change frequently and vary by jurisdiction; you remain responsible for confirming compliance with the platforms and laws that apply to your content.

8. Competitor and market data is estimated

Competitor analytics are derived from publicly available information and from models that estimate followers, engagement, and growth. These figures are approximate and are labelled as estimated in the interface. They must not be presented as exact, official, or audited numbers.

9. No automated actions on third-party platforms

The Service does not automatically publish, edit, or delete content on third-party platforms. Where a publishing or export action exists, it only runs when you initiate it and review the result. You are responsible for anything you publish and for complying with each platform's terms.

10. Changes to this policy

As features evolve, the set of AI actions and their estimated costs may change. We will keep credit estimates visible before each action and will post updated versions of this policy here with an updated "Last updated" date. We will not begin charging credits for a previously free non-AI feature without clearly communicating the change.
